Tanya Maniktala, 22, an Indian born actress, is set to take the British TV industry by storm in the BBC's upcoming adaptation of Vikram Seth’s A Suitable Boy.

Maniktala, unfamiliar to British audiences, will play university student Lata, opposite Indian screen icon Tabu, and Bollywood star Ishaan Khatter in the anticipated series. The young actress, who said she’s ‘still in a daze’ over her casting, is known in her native India for playing Ishita in the 2018 TV series Flames.
